FINANCIAL PLANNING Firms that choose to offer financial planning services need to be part of an organization that can provide them with a complete array of services and a program that will permit them to do so easily, and most importantly, professionally. The National Network of Accountants' financial program was designed by a CFP and CPA who understand the professional and ethical issues involved in providing these services. For this reason the program has been designed, and successfully used, for accounting professionals and accounting firms. Note: There are no prerequisites and / or preparations required to attend the Two-Day Financial Planning Seminar. VISION Creating a financial planning practice that is efficient enough to bring a firm significant financial gain can be complicated, tricky, and expensive. Having an organization with extensive resources, ingenuity, and real world experience available to work with you each step of the way is critical. The National Network of Accountants provides accountants with an exclusive program that includes a software package specifically designed for accountants, focus groups, training programs and professional support staff. At the National Network of Accountants we are committed to working with every accountant and firm to create and develop successful financial planning practices. We strongly believe that it is essential for each firm to receive the necessary licensing and training. For this reason we offer complete licensing services for accountants. Implementation of financial plans will require accountants to receive certain regulatory licenses. These range from basic life and health insurance licenses to comprehensive security licenses, for example, Series 7. We will assist you in obtaining the proper licenses and designations consistent with your practice development plans. We also believe that as a professional, an accountant should receive either a CFP or PFS designation above and beyond the mandatory licenses. We believe that this is sound business practice and consistent with the services offered by accounting professionals. Providing financial planning services can expose firms and individual accountants to potential liabilities. For this reason every firm needs to evaluate its current policies and providers. For many firms current policies are not adequate to cover financial planning services. Our staff regularly works with firms to review their policies, ensuring that they are completely covered for potential risks. The National Network of Accountants has established relationships with leading providers of errors and omissions insurance. In addition we work with firms to ensure that they have adequate coverage for both their accounting services and their financial planning services. A number of options are available to accountants in this area, and in some instances firms may even choose to create separate entities for financial planning services. Because these are important and critical decisions that firms and individual accountants must make, the National Network of Accountants is prepared to establish these business entities, and has experience doing so.
