BACKGROUND and PHILOSOPHY
Joseph W. Tucciarone, CFP
Founder & CEO

Joseph W. Tucciarone, CFP, born in New York City, received a degree from Manhattan College. He founded the National Network of Accountants in November of 1992.

Joe believes that success in the financial services industry is a direct result of not only technical knowledge but also of marketing expertise and communications skills. Over the last 23 years, Joe has been instrumental in the development of a system of marketing communications, which he believes can assist every accountant to expand his/her practice. His system is repetitive and transferable. It is also measurable and integrates well into the profession's most commonly used systems. Utilizing this system, many accountants have been able to provide value-added services for their clients, fully manage the client relationship, grow and diversify revenue streams, remain competitive and enhance their practice.

Joe believes that most accountants have never been given a systematic method of doing true financial planning. His firm, the National Network of Accountants Inc., through its proprietary software and systems, accomplishes this goal. Furthermore, he believes that the goal of accountants looking to be licensed merely to sell products is inconsistent with the fiduciary relationship they should maintain with their clients. Licensing without the proper planning services and communications skills will not get accountants past their basic fears and lack of self-confidence, especially in the marketing area.

Joe has been the driving force in developing a turnkey marketing system and communications program for the CPA community. This system has spearheaded his organization's growth, and Joe believes the CPA community will be the driving force in the financial planning during the new millennium.

In 2002, the National Network of Accountants celebrated its 10th anniversary. The organization is now headquartered in a 25,000 square foot new state-of-the-art facility in Woodbury, New York, and has four New York area regional offices including one in midtown Manhattan. Since 1999 the National Network of Accountants has been expanding across the nation, opening regional offices in major metropolitan centers.

Joe and the National Network of Accountants have been featured in many trade and business publications including The Wall Street Journal, Newsday, The CPA Journal, Practical Accountant, CPA Wealth Provider, and Accounting Today. For the past three years Joe has been named by Accounting Today, a leading accounting industry trade publication, as one of the most influential people in financial planning services for accountants. His organization currently trains between 200 and 300 accounting firms annually.
