BIOGRAPHY and BACKGROUND Mr. Libman is currently the National Director Preferred Provider Network and the Senior Vice President of the National Network of Accountants. Based in Woodbury, New York, the National Network of Accountants is a nationally recognized leader in developing programs to train accounting firms in methods of providing financial planning services. The goal of the Preferred Provider Network is to assist accountants in building relationships with professionals and business owners who will assist them in meeting the specific needs of their clients. The Preferred Provider Network has also developed into one of the nation's premier networking and business development organizations, offering a wide variety of events, meetings, educational programs and promotional services. Bruce is recognized as an innovative marketer and networking strategist. As Director of the Preferred Provider Network, he has developed the organization from six charter members to over 50. His special approach to networking is based on Total Relationship Management, a theory that expresses the belief that business is built upon personal relationships. Bruce works diligently with his professional staff to foster relationships and to enhance the networking skills of all the members of the Preferred Provider Network. After graduating from SUNY Buffalo in 1967 with a B.A. in business, Libman began his career in the retail industry. Soon after, he found himself working with MetLife in the insurance industry, advancing in the financial services sector, from 1979 through 1992, where he also received the prestigious honor of becoming a member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT). This honor is given only to the top-producing professionals in the insurance industry. Bruce began his career with Innovative Planning Services (IPS), a leading general agency for Guardian Life Insurance Company of America in 1992. Seven years later, he became the company's Director. Today, he is responsible for assisting with overseeing the firm's day-to-day operations and with management of the firm's agents. In addition, he is one of the firm's leading trainers, offering a variety of classes for sales representatives. Mr. Libman's efforts in the financial services industry have proved to be a model for others in the industry. As Director for the National Network of Accountants and the Preferred Provider Network, Mr. Libman oversees the planning and coordination of the group's networking program development, business development and expansion efforts. He is currently working with the National Network of Accountant's regional offices in Cincinnati, Virginia Beach, Philadelphia and San Jose to launch their networking programs. Mr. Libman is a supporter of a number of charitable organizations, including the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Suffolk County, Songs of Love, the Marty Lyons Foundation and the Special Olympics. He is a contributor to the Leadership Huntington Program and is a board member of the Friends of Karen. In addition, Mr. Libman is a member the Brooklyn and Staten Island chambers of commerce. He is also an active member in the Chamber of Commerce Regional Business Partnership in Huntington and was honored by the Child Care Council of Nassau County as its man of the year in 2004. He was recently named a board member of Family Residences and Essential Enterprises an organization dedicated to supporting the needs of children and adults with mental and developmental disabilities. A resident of Melville, New York, Mr. Libman was born and raised in the Bronx. He has two children and four grandchildren.
